BAREFOOT HARDWARE CLUB / TEENAGE ENGINEERING

Your OP-1.
More possibilities.

Prepare firmware and manage plugins here. Your firmware file stays on your computer.

01 — CONNECT

Bring your OP-1.

Connect your original OP-1 by USB and use COM mode. This connection reads the op1r identity and installed plugin list; it does not start an update.

No device connected.

02 — CHOOSE

Make room for new sounds.

Choose the engines and effects you want. After connection, checked plugins reflect what is already installed. Unchecking an installed plugin schedules its removal when you apply the selection.

Add your own plugin files

Plugins run code on your OP-1. Only use files you trust.

03 — PREPARE FIRMWARE

Your file. Processed here.

Required for a first install or a firmware update. Plugin-only changes on op1r 34+ do not need this file.

Select your original op1_246.op1. The patcher checks its SHA-256 against the expected R246 image before building anything.

The original Teenage Engineering firmware is not bundled. Official firmware source ↗
